Julia Kosowska is a Research Assistant in the Spinal Repair Unit, Department of Translational Neuroscience and Stroke, joining the team in 2025.
She holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from King’s College London. Her work focuses on cell culture techniques, where she investigates how cellular age and cell type influence the regenerative capacity for injury repair. This research aims to yield critical insights for future clinical translation.
Julia is also tasked with assessing the functional recovery in animal models following the transplantation of banked cells. Furthermore, she will contribute to the development and refinement of methodologies for research data collection and analysis.
